The Little Giant
Light leading man Glenn Hunter starred in this minor Universal comedy as Elmer Clinton, the young upwardly mobile sales manager of a company that manufactures washing machines. Royce Endfield (Leonard Meeker), the jealous son of the company's owner, does his level best to sabotage Elmer's progress. Despite help from his uncle Clem (David Higgins), Elmer is fired because of dwindling sales. In the end, however, the young man tracks down his nemesis and gives him a good whipping. Realizing that his son is no good, Endfield Sr. (Dodson Mitchell) fires him and reinstates Elmer.
