Tex
This obscure silent Western was one of three starring Ruth Mix, the daughter of Tom Mix. Produced by Ward Lascelles, the series was not successful despite Mix's supposed name-recognition; in fact, Ruth had to wait until the '30s to enjoy (modest) success in films. Tex also featured veteran screen villain Robert McKim, handsome Gladden James, and veteran leading lady Francelia Billington. The latter's late husband, Lester Cuneo, had also starred for Lascelles.
