Assembled from over a decade's worth of super-8 films and home videos, Karen Skloss' intimate yet playful documentary follows the journey of the adopted, pregnant filmmaker as she attempts to track down her biological mother before giving birth. Young, single, pregnant, and completely unprepared for motherhood, Skloss wrestles with the irony of the typical nuclear family while raising her young daughter and attempting to gain a greater understanding of her own personal history.
