Slugs
A small town is plagued by a series of grisly deaths. The local health inspector investigates and discovers that the "killers" are actually a mutant variety of meat-eating garden slugs. It seems that the town had been built on top of a toxic waste dump, which turned the normally harmless slugs into ravenous carnivores.
