King of Beggars
In this period piece, Stephen Chiau stars as Beggar So, a Chinese folk hero. After he's banished from the Army for illiteracy, So becomes a member of the Society of Beggars, eventually being named their King. He becomes respected enough that he's called on to help save the Emperor's life.
