Fifty-Fifty
Not to be confused with the 1916 picture, Fifty-Fifty directed by Allan Dwan and starrig Norma Talmadge, this comedy had the now-forgotten Clement Easton at the megaphone. To prove himself lord and master of his abode, Mr. Blake (Harry Dunkinson) invites a pal home and humiliates Mrs. Blake (Lillian Drew) in his presence. To get revenge, Mrs. Blake tricks her husband into believing he has married another woman during a blackout drunk. He pays a fortune to get this unknown woman out of his life -- but the money actually goes to the real Mrs. Blake, who proceeds to blow it on fast cars and fancy gowns. This leads Mr. Blake to believe his wife is having an affair. When he finds out the truth, he agrees to run his home on a fifty-fifty basis.
