Roy Marsden stars as Commander Adam Dalgliesh in this miniseries adapted from the best-selling mystery novel by P.D. James. Dalgliesh is taking a well-deserved vacation in a coastal resort community when he discovers a small crime wave has taken over the village, with murder, blackmail, and suicide all tied into shadowy events at a faltering nuclear power plant.
