Butterfly Lovers
A traditional Chinese opera provides the basis for this nonmusical sweet & sour romance that tells the tale of a 4th-century student who finds himself confused when he becomes attracted to a fellow student. Unbeknownst to him, the "he" is really a she in disguise.
