Director Topper (D C Cab) Carew's Breaking and Entering is a lively overview of the head-spinning school of terpischore. Carew intersperses superb shots of breathless breakdancing exhibitions with interviews of the participants and fans of this peculiar skill. Breaking and Entering would make a good entr'acte feature between screenings of the feature-length Breakin' (1984) and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo (1984).
